Gardening for Backyard Mason Bees
Native bees are solitary but neighborly, hole-nesting bees that are easy-to-raise and excellent pollinators. Raising mason bees is the future of sustainable agricultural pollination. Solitary bees are gentle bees because they are not interested in defending their nest making them safe to have around kids and pets. Just ask Emma Davis of W.S.U.’s Research Extension about these pollinators during our class and learn interesting facts about these flying friends.
