First Saturday Art Walk in Downtown Mount Vernon
The Mount Vernon Downtown Association (MVDA) is excited to present the First Saturday Art Walk on June 2, from 2-5 pm, in downtown Mount Vernon. The June Art Walk is sponsored by the NW Art Beat Open Studio Tour, hosting a preview show at the Front Gallery at 420 Myrtle. The show will be a group exhibition featuring 32 artists participating in the NW Art Beat Open Studio Tour, and includes the original painting of the Lincoln Theatre, “Glowing Review”, which is the June Art Walk poster image, by artist Jennifer McGill. The Skagit Valley Food Co-Op will feature artist Nico Inzerella on the mezzanine level. Perry and Carlson Gallery, will present Escape to the City, Urban Landscapes by Michael Manente. Additional artists and their locations include: Christine Wardenburg-Skinner, Embellish; Jessamyn Tuttle, Valley Shine Distillery; Ben Mann, Ristretto Coffee Lounge & Wine Bar; Rita Martin, Empire Ale House; Karen Neugebauer, Forté Chocolates; Mary Quintrall and Maria Wickwire, Lincoln Theatre Art Bar; Betty Miles, Skagit Running Company; James Sylvester, PAVÉ Jewelry & Design; and Debbie Speed, ByWater Consultation.
